Broadway Bound Dance Center is located in Dumont NJ, in the heart of Bergen County. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Rocco Santorufo, Broadway Bound is celebrating its 20th year of performing arts in the Bergen County community. BBDC began with a clear vision and whole lot of passion. With just a boom box and a pair of tap shoes, Mr. Rocco found space at the Dumont Elks Club. As the student base grew and the demand for more classes arose, BBDC moved to a small storefront on Madison Ave.

The school’s reputation blossomed and expansion was soon necessary so we moved to a 2,500 sq. ft. facility. As enrollment grew so did the need for teachers, and Mr. Rocco recruited many professional dancers from Manhattan.

After several years we added a second location allowing us to expand our curriculum to bring more Performing Arts to the community. Along with our children and adolescent classes, our adult classes grew to accommodate different levels, interests and schedules. Over the years, Mr. Rocco reached out more and more to the community and his efforts became focused on children with special abilities. This Special Needs program allows us to bring the joy of dance to students who might otherwise not have this creative opportunity. Our school continues to grow and nurture, and we continue to strive to bring the best dance instruction to all our students.

Most recently, in 2009, Mr. Rocco realized a lifelong dream building a school he designed. Our 6,500 sq. ft. facility offers a diverse curriculum and a more convenient schedule while providing modern studio features that enhance the quality of the dance instruction we offer our students. We do not rest on our accomplishments, but continually to strive to improve our program so that our students continue to get the best dance education in Bergen County.
